All for One, One for All
The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), founded in 1929, is the oldest and most widely respected Hispanic civil rights organization in the United States of America. The founders of LULAC created an organization that empowers its members to create and develop opportunities where they are needed most.
LULAC of Iowa is the state chapter of the national organization with it's first council chartering back in 1957 at Fort Madison, Iowa and has been growing on the frontlines of important civil rights issues ever since.
Today LULAC of Iowa has 20 councils and 600+ members across the state who are working together to address local and state issues.
